Philosophy

I believe that everyone has the capacity to change. I see my job has helping clients make the changes they want to make to live happy fulfilling lives. I use an individualized approach that takes into account my client's interests and talents, to help them learn new skills and improve their relationships. I also use a variety of treatment methods such as MI, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Multi-Family Group, and TF_CBT.

Education and Professional Background

Chad completed his undergraduate studies at Weber State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. He obtained a Master's of Social Work from the University of Utah. Chad has worked in various settings with all ages. He began his therapy career working with children and their families. He spent several years working with adults with psychotic disorders at Weber Human Services, and has provided Intensive Outpatient and Outpatient substance abuse treatment.
