South Davis Communities that Care

South Davis started implementing Communities that Care (CTC) in December 2020 with the support of all 5 police chiefs. South Davis CTC consists of one Key Leader Board and two Community Boards to tailor our action plans to address the needs of our five cities (North Salt Lake City, Woods Cross, West Bountiful, Bountiful, and Centerville). Both coalitions are currently developing their community profiles by looking at their local data and identifying their prevention focus areas. Our community boards will develop action plans by the end of 2021.

Join us! Our CTC coalitions consist of diverse community members and leaders including parents, educators, local businesses, and organizations, who come together to help our youth live healthy and fulfilling lives.  

CTC coalitions meet monthly and workgroups meet as needed.  Workgroups include: community outreach and coalition support, data and resource assessment, funding, and youth involvement.

Jess Bigler, MSW

Jess is the Prevention Coalition Coordinator for North Salt Lake, West Bountiful, and Woods Cross, within the South Davis Communities That Care. Jess earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Utah. She has focused on adolescent mental health and suicide prevention. She enjoys learning, being with her twin boys, live music, running, and spending the day at the water. 

Danielle Kaiser, MPH

Danielle is a Prevention Coalition Coordinator for Bountiful and Centerville, within South Davis Communities That Care. She originally grew up in Michigan but moved to Spanish Fork in middle school. Her background is primarily in Public Health. She received her B.S. in Public Health, Epidemiology emphasis from Brigham Young University in 2016 and a Master of Public Health from the University of Utah in 2020. She has a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. In her free time, she likes to travel, indoor cycle, read, and do home improvement projects. She is a recent resident to Bountiful and looks forward to getting to know and participate more within her community.
