My objective as a mental health professional is to create a nonjudgmental, safe, and warm space for my clients from day one by catering each session to their individual needs. One size does not fit all! It takes courage to seek help and make changes and my job is to ensure the process does not become overwhelming by using evidenced based practices that seek to help clients meet their goals. My experience spans from trauma, addiction, depression and suicidality, HIV, and LGBTQIA+ specific issues. By using a person-centered approach my intent is to show clients how their individual strengths can aid them in the process of being their best possible self.
