Professional Experience

Community mental health provides me the great pleasure of working with a wide variety of mental health diagnoses; however, I have specialized training in treating trauma, anxiety disorders, military populations, LGBTQ+ populations, and people with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and ASD, who are seeking treatment for secondary mental illness. Modalities I have been trained in and regularly pull from include ACT, CBT, CBTp, CPT, DBT, MBSR, and Somatics.

Education and Professional Background

Bachelor of Social Work – Weber State University
Master of Social Work – University of Southern California

Philosophy

I believe in providing evidence-based care from a humanistic, person-in-environment perspective. I believe in the importance of cultural humility in my practice and that my primary role, as provider, is service to my clients; assisting them with adaptive functioning towards their self-determined goals.

Personal Interests

Backpacking, paddle-boarding, and spending time with friends and family, especially my husband and two kids.
