I believe that everyone is doing the best they can within their current capabilities. My job is to help individuals grow those capabilities so they can effectively manage the stresses and difficult situations that come at them in life. I do not like to focus on the "what" but instead on understanding the "why" so we can target what is underlying the behaviors and/or symptoms. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents who exhibit behavioral disruptions.
