Philosophy

I believe that every individual has the inherent ability to change and has unique strengths within themselves to help facilitate the change process. Every individual copes with situations/life circumstances to the best of their ability, given their unique circumstances and sitautions. Sometimes these ways of coping become ineffective and maladaptive to life circumstances. When that happens, it’s an opportune time for individuals to make positive changes to affect and often change the trajectory of their life. It is my job to work along side individuals to move them through the change process, taking into account and building upon their unique cultural circumstances and life experiences. I feel blessed to be able to share the human experience with those that I work with.
