I believe that every person is on a journey towards their own personal healing. This journey requires tools that we learn along the way to work towards building a new life for ourselves. I am always honored to be able to go on this journey with my clients and be part of their growth. I help clients learn tools through open process, coping interventions, exploring values and beliefs, increasing safety, increasing our personal awareness, as well as working to establish boundaries. Together we create an individual’s treatment plan and goals together, after we complete a thorough evaluation and establish a well-defined diagnosis. I am trained in multiple evidence-based practices to fit individual needs and to boost each person’s strengths and confidence so they can one day finish therapy.
"A good tool improves the way you work. A great tool improves the way you think."
I have worked with Davis Behavioral health since 2011. I have worked in varies programs within the company including case management, Journey House, children and adult crisis, substance use and outpatient mental health. I am familiar with working with both substance use court and mental health court. I received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Weber State University in 2010 and my masters in Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2018.
My personal interests are in working with clients from all areas of life with many diagnoses. I enjoy continuing to learn new methods of treatment and I am always jumping at the opportunity to advance my knowledge to better serve my clients.
