Philosophy

Heal with hope. Master your mind. Balance your body. Strengthen your spirit. Let’s make your journey of healing fun and exciting. I use an integrated Mind—Body—Spirit approach, blending innovative neuroscience, positivity, and creativity with evidence-based methods. Combining DBT, CBT, EMDR, and existential techniques, I’ll help you find self-acceptance and manage difficult emotions, dispute distorted thinking and negative self-talk, heal from past trauma, and discover purpose and meaning in life. A focus on positivity, resilience and unleashing your strengths offers so many incredible reasons to wake up each morning, excited to explore the possibilities of each new day.

Education and Professional Background

I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. With over 20,000 client hours of direct clinical therapy in outpatient and inpatient settings, I’m prepared to help you tackle a wide range of mental health issues. You’ll also benefit from my additional training in EMDR, pornography and substance use addiction, spiritual connection, PTSD, suicide prevention, and therapeutic humor.

Personal Interests

A talented singer, musician, writer and humorist, I love to explore creativity. I find personal healing in humor, brain health and wellness, hypnotherapy, and drawing on spiritual strength. I also love to travel and try different foods.
