Meet the Coordinators

Alysa Stuart, MPH

Alysa is the Prevention Coalition Coordinator for the Layton Communities That Care. She is a homegrown Layton resident and cares deeply for her community, specifically mental health and wellbeing. Her mental health background comes from the private residential treatment industry. She has over 6 years’ experience in this industry and has worked for both Solstice RTC and Live Strong House on the administrative team (both are Layton businesses). She loves working in the community and finding creative local solutions to these huge problems. She received her B.S. in Sociology from the University of Utah and graduated in 2012. She then went to the Colorado School of Public Health at UNC and received her Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health and Community Health Education in 2018. Outside of work, she is married to DJ and together they have two beautiful children, Finley (age 10) and Malcolm (age 4). They enjoy traveling and playing games together. When she has that rare alone time, she loves to read, lazily walk the aisles of Target with a Starbucks coffee, or binge-watch Outlander.
